Mike a grandi au Texas aux État-Unis avant d'aller habiter en Europe notamment à Dublin et à Prague. Il a parcouru le monde avant de s'établir en Floride. Mike est un développeur de logiciel expérimenté. Il a fondé et dirige une société spécialisée dans le Web 2.0. Sa principale passion c'est les oiseaux : www.zoobird.com. Mike dirige OrlandoJUG (www.orlandoJUG.org), fondateur et co-président de GatorJUG (www.gatorJUG.org), CajunJUG (www.cajunJUG.org), et le JUG de l'African de l'ouest(www.senejug.com). Il a créé la communauté des développeurs Codetown www.codetown.us.

Raised on TexMex and BBQ on the Gulf Coast, college in Texas, then lived in Prague and Dublin and traveled the world for a bit before settling in Florida.
